Life In New Zealand

October 15, 2015, We arrived safely in NewZealand and were greeted by our trainer couple, Elder and Sister Spencer.  They have been wonderful to us.  They cleaned our apartment and made sure everything was in order.  They drove us to the Area Office and showed us where we'll be working.  They took us to dinner and drove us around Takapuna.  They took us to the grocery store and made sure we had everything we needed.

These are pictures of us at the Auckland International Airport shortly after we arrived.  The Mauri carvings on the walls are spectacular.

SHOALHAVEN APARTMENTS

This is the Shoalhaven apartment complex.  We live on the second floor in the corner.  We have a very nice apartment.  About ten other senior couples live in Shoalhaven.  It's like having an instant family.

Today was our first day in the Area Office.  We're in the Seminary and Institute section.  Everyone has been so kind and friendly.

This is a picture of the Area Office.  It's in downtown Takapuna, a suburb of Auckland.  The Area Office is only ten minutes away from our apartment, so we walk to work most days.
