After two months of waiting for our visas, we finally made it to the MTC (Missionary Training Center!) It was worth the wait! Everyone is sofriendly and welcoming. After we got settled in our room we went to watch the broadcast of Elder Scott's funeral. It was wonderful to hear about the life of this great man. In the afternoon we heard talks from the MTC Presidency and their wives. The second counselor, Elder Bertasso and his wife recently returned from an assignment in New Zealand. We talked with them about what to expect when we get there.
There are 2,000 missionaries at the MTC this week! It's great to rub shoulders with them and feel the great spirit of the MTC.
